    LaForce is currently seeking Account Directors with generalist experience ranging from CPG/Consumer, Beauty and Lifestyle experience. In this position you will be responsible for effectively managing multiple sizable accounts and account teams, including financials, and will serve as key client contact. An established leader viewed as a seasoned professional; respected by senior clients, with a proven track record that demonstrates team growth by leading, maintaining and winning new business.

    Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    Program/Project Management

    • Accountable for all programs, strategic direction and projects managed
    • Monitors programming to ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met

    Client Management

    • Defines scope-of-work and sets client expectations
    • Establishes metrics for determining success and evaluates programs with team and client
    • Provides counsel to clients and sets strategy and direction of work
    • Has a thorough understanding of client’s business and competitive environments
    • Demonstrates the ability to successfully navigate communication across a diverse client roster including tailoring tone, delivery, evaluating approach, etc. when necessary
    • Identifies client problems and creative challenges and sees them through without guidance

     Media Relations

    • Responsible for identifying strategic media relationships and ensures overall media strategy is aligned with client/ brand goals
    • Develops new and creative media strategies
    • Guides account support to ensure successful implementation of media strategies

    People Management

    • Manages, mentors and develops staff
    • Provides clear, concise direction and feedback that garners buy-in from team members
    • Responsible for the review process of direct reports
    • Sets account priorities and communicates them accurately and efficiently to team members
    • Commits to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; sets and pursues goals

    Business Management /Development

    • Develops and grows senior-level client relationships
    • Introduces clients to new capabilities, initiates new business process and exhibits an overall enthusiasm for team growth
    • Develops new business plans and demonstrates clear understanding of strategy as it pertains to each brand/ client, without direction
    • Demonstrates strong presentation skills and ability to influence decision-makers

    Financial / Budget Accountability

    • Contributes to and/or oversees team revenue; ensures that accounts are managed for agency profitability
    • Analyzes and oversees budgets across team portfolio, where applicable

    Skills, Qualifications and Knowledge:

    • Bachelors degree with 8 plus years of agency experience
    • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to manage, motivate and lead team efforts
    • In-depth analytical skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
    • Innovative thinker – ability to develop creative solutions and new programs

    We are looking for an Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful and proactive, whether the task is big or small. They are master multi-taskers and exercise good judgment, have strong anticipatory skills as well as written and verbal communication.     Responsibilities:

    Provide administrative support to assigned senior leaders, including but not limited to:

    • Proactively handle scheduling and day-to-day calendar management, keeping them informed, prepared, and on time for meetings
    • Manage information flow and field requests in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining awareness of shifting priorities and complex schedules
    • Assist with information processes, such as distributing items to clients and preparing correspondence
    • Assist with development of PowerPoint presentations and other client collateral materials, as needed
    • Assist with background research for current and potential clients, monitoring events in the news and media pertinent to our business, as needed
    • Prepare and reconcile expenses and assist in entering billable client hours into SaaS, our internal time tracking system, for assigned team members
    • Work closely with the Finance /Accounting team to ensure efficient contracting and invoicing procedures are executed
    • Arrange detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compile documents for travel-related meetings, as needed
    • May assist with team social event planning, such as team lunches, outings, etc.
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 1 – 2 years of administrative experience supporting a team, office management and/or senior level executive(s)
    • Candidate must be able to work in Manhattan office at least 2 -3 days per week
    • Strong attention to organizational and project management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Reliable and responsive, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently both independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
    • Adaptable, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure with a positive, solutions-first approach, and team-player attitude
    • High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications

    LaForce is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Assistant for their warehouse space in Long Island City, Queens. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory and will report directly to the Director of Facilities. This is a non-exempt position.

    Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Receive all incoming packages.
    • Track inventory of all merchandise.
    • Ensure that all merchandise is safely and securely stored in designated storage areas.
    • Alert appropriate team members of delivery.
    • Assist with shipping packages and mailer assembly on a regular basis.
    • Handle any ad-hoc projects as needed or assigned.

    Physical Requirements:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a candidate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    • While there will be time at a desk, the employee must be able to handle physical labor (i.e., packaging/ assembling product, moving/ carrying shipments, etc.)
    • The employee must be able to safely lift, move and handle heavy objects, approximately +/- 50 pounds.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to stay organized while working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detailed-orientated.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with people across all levels of the agency.
